What goes into a bar

Grown on our farm
Neem, tulsi, lemongrass and marigold are grown on our farm in South Goa, picked by hand and sun-dried before they go into a bar. Buying them in would be quicker.

Sourced, and we say from where
The bases are sourced: goat milk from farms near ours, shea butter from West Africa. Honey comes from Goa, saffron from Kashmir. Every ingredient page names its origin.

Scented with essential oils
The scent comes from essential oils and the botanicals themselves, never synthetic fragrance. Essential oils cost more, which is why so much commercial soap uses fragrance instead.

Vitamin E in every bar
We add vitamin E to each bar. No SLS, no parabens.

Poured by hand, after you order
Each batch is hand-poured in small numbers once an order comes in. There is no warehouse and no factory line, so we can only make so many.
That is why a bar costs more than one from a supermarket shelf, and why we can only make so many.

We take 2 to 3 days to make a hamper once you confirm, then delivery takes about 4 to 7 days depending on the city. Diwali is on Sunday, 8 November. Tell us the date you need it by and we will say honestly whether we can make it.

Why do the hampers cost what they do?
Neem, tulsi, lemongrass and marigold, which go into many of our bars, are grown on our farm in South Goa and sun-dried by hand. The scent comes from essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance, and every bar has added vitamin E. Each batch is poured by hand after you order, in small numbers. That is why a bar costs more than one from a supermarket shelf, and why we can only make so many.
